APRIL 2, 2010 YACHT CLUB MINUTES
SANDY POINT YACHT CLUB
Monthly Meeting April 2,, 2010
Meeting was called to order at 7:20 PM by Commodore Jeff McKay, with 27 members present.
TREASURES REPORT:
April 2010 ending balance is $1,934.05 and we now have 46 memberships.
Treasurer, Kristi Blanchard was not at the meeting, but sent the pertinent information on.
OLD BUSINESS
We were bought up to date on Opening Day, May 15, by Commodore Jeff McKay.
The Coast Guard will be there for Boat Inspections and Homeland Security information for boaters.
The Fire Department will have the usual give a ways and information and there will be Local Artists selling their wares. Also, a yard sale, if anyone wants to participate.
Don’t forget Clean Up Day, Saturday May 8th. Meet at the Yacht Club. Where there is such a thing as a Free Lunch.
NEW BUSINESS
The Coast Guard Auxiliary boating classes will be held:
April 14 – June 2, and September 15 – November 3.
7 – 9 PM Tuesdays.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER
Our special program was Dale Peterson’s interesting and enticing presentation on his boating trips to Alaska and books he has written. We all had a great evening.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM
