YACHT CLUB INFORMATION

Sandy Point Yacht Club is open to all boaters as well as non-boaters

The purpose of SPYC is to:

• Serve the interest of boat owners and to defend such owners against discrimination, legislation, and burdensome taxation

• Prevent pollution of neighboring waterways

• Stimulate a greater interest in boating among all outdoor enthusiasts

• Provide a medium of exchange of boating information

• Develop more adequate boat storage and dock facilities

• Do all other things which tend to serve and further interests of boating locally and generally

Regular monthly meetings are typically held at 6:30 p.m. the first Friday of each month with a potluck dinner at the Marina Clubhouse, 4323 Salt Spring Dr.

Dues are $20 per year (January 1 – December 31) and cover the members of one household/address. Paid members receive a monthly newsletter and a schedule of club activities. Annual schedule of events typically include Opening Day ceremonies, Parking Lot Dance, Children’s Bullhead Derby, Boat Cruises, etc.
